Couples Counseling – Healthy relationships don’t happen by accident. Couples counseling focuses on helping couples communicate with one another more effectively as they deal a variety of relational issues, both big and small. Therapeutic interventions seek to help couples gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict, and improve relationship satisfaction.

Family Counseling – One goal in family counseling is to help family members communicate better and teach them how to better resolve conflicts that arise within the family unit by improving their systems of interactions. Grief Counseling – Grief is a reaction to any form of loss, most times it is associated with a death of a loved one. Grief is different for everyone and is many times shaped by our culture. Conflict Resolution – Conflict can arise in many situations, whether in the workplace, in the home, or between friends. Conflict resolution therapy seeks to teach people useful conflict resolution skills, skills that for challenging situation and skills that can help a person better navigate conflict in the future.

Play Therapy – Normally used on children three to 12 years, therapeutic play seeks to honor a child’s unique developmental level. Play therapy normally takes place in a safe, comfortable playroom, where free expression is allowed and a child’s play style, choices, and decisions are carefully observed by the counselor. The goal of play therapy is to help children learn to express themselves in healthier ways.

EMDREye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively research, integrative psychotherapy that seeks to help people heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences and trauma, such as anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, and PTSD.
